1. About UrbanWish

UrbanWish Inc. ("UrbanWish", "we", "us", or "our") operates a digital marketplace that enables users to discover, book, and pay for services offered by independent third‑party service providers. UrbanWish is not the provider of the services listed on the Platform.

UrbanWish is not a service provider and does not own, manage, operate, or control any of the services listed on the Platform.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 16 years old to use UrbanWish.
• By using the Platform, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Nigerian law.

3. Role of UrbanWish (Marketplace Disclaimer)

• UrbanWish acts solely as an intermediary marketplace.
• We do not own, manage, control, or deliver the services listed.
• Service providers are solely responsible for the quality, safety, legality, and delivery of their services.

4. Account Registration

• You may browse and make bookings as a guest.
• An account is required to redeem vouchers, manage bookings, leave reviews, or access certain features.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

5. Bookings and Payments

• Bookings are confirmed instantly once payment is successfully processed.
• Payments are processed via third‑party payment processors.
• Any applicable service fees, taxes, or charges will be displayed at checkout.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

• Users may cancel bookings up to 24 hours before the scheduled service time for a full refund.
• Cancellations made between 12 and 24 hours before the scheduled time are eligible for a 50% refund.
• No refund is available for cancellations made less than 12 hours before the scheduled time.
• Rescheduling is allowed up to 2 hours before the scheduled service time.
• If a provider fails to deliver a service as described, users may be entitled to a full refund following review.

7. Reviews and Ratings

• Reviews may only be submitted after a completed booking.
• Reviews must be honest, factual, and non‑abusive.
• UrbanWish reserves the right to moderate or remove reviews that violate these Terms or applicable laws.

8. Consumer Protection (Nigeria‑Specific)

• These Terms comply with the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) 2018.
• Users retain all statutory consumer rights under Nigerian law.
• Nothing in these Terms limits your right to seek redress through lawful consumer protection channels.

9. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

• Submit false or misleading information
• Abuse or harass service providers
• Leave fraudulent or malicious reviews
• Circumvent platform fees or booking processes

10. Suspension & Termination

UrbanWish may suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in abuse, fraud, or misconduct
• Repeatedly cancel bookings or misuse the Platform

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law:

• UrbanWish is not liable for the acts or omissions of service providers.
• Our liability is limited to the fees paid through the Platform for the affected booking.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
• Disputes shall be resolved through local arbitration in Nigeria, prior to court proceedings.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
